Our first road bump!

I had an ultrasound scheduled for Wednesday July 15, 2009 and I thought it was just routine. The tech said the baby looked goo and the heartbeat was 176bpm. That is awesome. I got a call from Dr. Super's office on Thursday and they informed me that the minor separation in my placenta had gotten smaller. I was confused since I didn't know that I even had a minor separation to begin with. They conveniently forgot to tell me 2 weeks ago that there was a slight problem. Well, it did get smaller, but I am a worry wort. The nurse said that there is a chance that it will correct itself since it has already started to do so. They will need to watch me and will do another ultrasound on August 14, 2009 to see how the separation is doing. I just want to be normal and have no problems. I am just hoping that it all turn out OK.

We're finally pregnant!!!

So, it took5 months of clomid to do the trick and here we are. I am 10 weeks pregnant with our first baby. It has been a long road to get here and I am scared to death. I was diagnosed with PCOS in November 2008 after 5 months of trying to get pregnant with no success. I was completely devastated because I was just sure that we would never be able to conceive. Well with a little help from my friends metformin, clomid, and preseed we were finally able to conceive in May 2009. I discovered I was pregnant two days early on June 2, 2009. I was in complete shock. I was convinced that we had failed once again. Ten weeks later and I am still trying to absorb the thought that I am going to be a mom. I had my first visit with Dr. Super on July 1, 2007 and he said that the baby's estimated arrival date is February 9, 2010. We are so very excited to finally have good news to share with our friends and family. I am content to shed tears of joy instead of sadness!
