1 Day left until we become parents to a TODDLER!!!!
Seth's BIG birthday is tomorrow! It seems like yesterday that we brought him home. Brian and I were just talking lastnight, before we went to bed, about the days surrounding Seth's birth. It is supposed to be 45 degrees tomorrow and I think that is great weather for his borthday. It was cold when he was born and even snowed the day after. We talked about how it was cold the day he came home from the hospital (2/1/10). It seemed like forever for the car to warm up. Poor Brian, he was a wreck! He just kept saying, "We have some precious cargo in here." It's all so fresh in my mind that I wonder how I have let a year pass by. This day, the 27th, a year ago was hell for me. The waiting was craziness! I wil share the entire story tomorrow to mark the 1 year anniversary. We are having a party for Seth on Saturday and we have about 66 people coming! WOW! I have my hands a bit full, but Seth is so worth it!

It's been too long!
I started the blog in 2009 as a way to archive the events leading up to Brian and I becoming parents for the first time! As I usually do, I didn't follow through! Here it is January of 2011 and I have no progress with this blog. I guess better late than never! Life is crazy busy since Seth's arrival! Seth was born on January 28, 2010 at 3:18pm weighing in at 7lb 3oz and 20 inches long. My little baby will be 1 in just 4 short days! WOW! Where did the time go? It has been an interesting year for us, to say the least. When I returned to work from my maternity leave, my job was less than pleasant. I quit and decided to try my hand at being a SAHM! It is a real experience let me tell you! There are days that I want to pull my hair out because we just sit at home and stare at the walls! Then, there are days that I thank God that I have had the opportunity to stay at home with my son for almost a year! I am working really hard at getting back to work, though! I have 2 job interviews set up for tomorrow, so we will see what comes of it! I guess I can say that Brian and I have been dealt some rough hands in life, but somehow we always find a way to push on and make it through. I would like to share more about Seth's birth story and I will, just at a later time. I know it happened almost a year ago, but I feel that it will be a great story to finally tell on the one year anniversary. I promise to keep up with this more often! Until next time!
